Renewal of Vows Ceremonies

Say “I love you” all over again with a hand crafted renewal of vows ceremony

Sometimes it’s good to give things a refresh. It could be a spot of spring cleaning, or adding a lick of familiar paint to a wall. Relationships are no different, and there are lots of good reasons to reaffirm the commitment you made to each other, whether you are married or in a civil partnership, or you want to celebrate an informal arrangement of your own design.

You could be planning to renew the promises that you made on your wedding day, or thinking that it's time to make a new commitment that’s right for the future. Lots of people like to celebrate the time they have spent together and it's good for a joyful gathering of friends and family.

Perhaps you would like to twin a renewal of vows with another special occasion, such as a naming ceremony. We are always happy to discuss ideas and options with you.

TOP TIP: Think carefully before you drop a renewal as a surprise on someone. We are not keen on doing this as a surprise because the promises that you make to each other should be  mutual. Some people will get embarrassed and upset if  you spring an emotional occasion on them, so we strongly suggest that you avoid doing this and have a conversation instead.

A renewal of vows ceremony is a wonderful way to say thank you to each other for your life together so far, and to make promises to each other for the next chapter of your life.

It may be that you have been through a major life event or time of change and you want to make a renewed commitment to each other for the future. For some people, a renewal of vows ceremony is a great way to put a fresh spark into a relationship or get it back on track.

We love working with people in all kinds of situations, and we promise that there is absolutely no judgement. In fact, we take pride in making the process of working with us a fun, joyful and memorable experience. When we meet to discuss the content of your ceremony we will ask you to tell us your story, which can be a wonderful way to pause and reflect on your memories. You will have the big memories ready to share, but you may just rediscover those little treasured moments from the past which had slipped out of focus, too.
